Enjoying content creation and explosions
@Pirat_Nation I don't have to enjoy the content to not want to see content that isn't illegal in the territory it's purchased, to be censored.
If it is illegal where the purchase end point is, fair play, but don't think these criteria won't eventually be applied to things you DO like.
@Pirat_Nation Still waiting to see the same outrage/concerns from payment processors over "Bodice Ripper" books (a.k.a. "Dude, where's my shirt")
Or platforms like Fanly or OF
Or adult "health" devices
It's surprising how many non-gaming products fall under these criteria as well...
@ZehaoL89763@tharaxis Generally, the limits on distribution only apply for copies the dev/publisher "sell", and are expected to curb unauthorized re-dristo.
The MMO emu community found this out early on and now generally require you to "own" an original copy, and disallow/discourage sharing ISOs
@marek_rosa There is also the consideration that cost reductions from the use of AI solutions allows new entrants into fields/businesses that traditionally have high start-up buy-in.
Counter to that though, it also means the longer-term players in an industry now have even deeper pockets
@SpaceTomatoGG Also seems counter to the original premise of the game being a "hard core" combat flight sim.
I get the need for having a wider appeal/accessibility, but we've lost so much of the original premise at this point, it's just another step away from the original vision
@SpaceTomatoGG I can understand them from an atmosphere perspective, but not deep space/zero-gee flight models.
But I also remember when the number of thrusters impacted the SC flight models, and could change based on where you took damage...
@DiceCompanyPod For less used systems, probably West Eng Games (WEG) d6 system (classic Star Wars RPG)
Most other systems are generally game theme specific, like Cyberpunk 2020 and Shadowrun which are world setting specific lol
@DiceCompanyPod For mainstream systems - BESM (Big Eye Small Mouth) and HERO (Champions) are good for the level of customization on front-end and back-end
"Guilty pleasure" system - Palladium, covers a surprising range of genres and source worlds from pop culture. Also mixes genres well
@YoDanno Mine do, often in disguise as various types of "enchanted" equipment lol
Had one that looked like the old police boxes... the party thought they were getting a Doctor Who crossover until the "phone" started ringing lol
@YoDanno Evolution of the cover?
Black background with red text & dragon image in 1983 (Original)
Full color with green dragon in 1984 (revised ed.)
To what appears to be a "heavily inspired" (2nd ed. in 1996)
Credited artist is Martin McKenna, who also did work for Games Workshop
@GrabbyLIVE French Toast sounds good almost every morning. Use the "texas" toast cut bread (or a good thick-cut brioche), bit of cinnamon and/or vanilla in the egg mix, finish with powdered sugar and warm syrup/berry jam or honey
@DungeonAlchemi1 Just off the top of my head...
herb bundles, various glassware containing samples, distillation glassware, small/medium/large plinths for different experiments or rituals, firepits w/cauldrons, oddly specific lighting with hints of magic power/particles, "god rays" w/dust..
