Haleakalā National Park is home to the ʻAhinahina or Haleakalā Silversword. Elevation in the park ranges from sea level in Kīpahulu to 10,023 ft at the Summit.
The Summit District is now open. There is very little snow accumulation at the summit of Haleakalā and it is predominantly ice. Please stay on designated paths and trails as there may be fragile plant life hidden underneath the snow like the Haleakalā silversword. #Haleakala
