Awful. This morning 17-year-old Austin Metcalf was stabbed by 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony at a track meet in Frisco. He died in his twin brother’s arms. Incomprehensible. Pray for his family.

Happy Pi day!! Even though we don’t really cover Pi or most Pi related topics in 6th grade, I felt it needed to be celebrated! 😉 Started the day with a skittles data analysis activity, then listened to the story - Sir Cumfrence & the Dragon of Pi, and played some Pi day Bingo!

Doing a data collection & analysis activity on Friday… I call this - doing the most as a teacher. Getting (more than) enough skittles packs so students can choose what flavor they want.
