One year ago, my husband was quietly terminated for standing up for a student that was being raped by a family member and reported it to authorities. The politics and hypocrisy is exhausting.

We’ve been through a lot in a year, and we’re better for it.

I had an awesome interview last week and was really hopeful. I’m guessing I got a rejection today bc our timelines didn’t match up, and my ego is a bit bruised, but it really was a great interview.

A good prof friend of mine is having to get a second job bc they can’t afford their mortgage + the huge increase in taxes and home insurance. A professional with advanced degrees.
