I can't believe they just said Claws of Awaji is not necessary for their final story drop.
So is Tsuyu, or any of the Templars from Awaji not going to be mentioned or relevant here?
What was the point of Awaji again?
Funniest thing they could have done with this cobbled mess.
And if I say these scenes still have these models look stiff and awkward, even with the mocap?
I might have to reinstall Shadows for this "story", I could use a good laugh.
Here is a sequence of cutscenes that set the premise for the Black Tides final chapter of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, including
🔴Mocapped scenes!
🔴Templar elites Eamon Hathaway and Nirmala known as “Black Cross”
🔴They are looking for the 👀Observatory 👀
🔴Templars assuming Naoe is an Assassins and finding out she’s not
@CamNuggetsYT@n8dizz3l@JamesResEvil If you aren't engaging in side content like hot springs, you will be in trouble for story content on hard mode. The game scales assuming you are engaging in side content, and will punish you with even regular enemies dealing one shot kills like you're in Lethal.
@speakinginbold@v4Mae He deliberately stopped fighting back when finding out it was Freya.
He considers her a friend.
He denied a "deal" with Odin and fought Thor with that in mind.
He's fought a God of Thunder before and was brought low.
All things someone who has played the franchise would know.
Three new achievements have been added to 🔴 Assassin's Creed Shadows 🔴 regarding Update 1.1.11, the Last Update!
The achievements seem to involve
✝️ Templars
🎯 Exploits
🏯 Domains
What are your expectations for this final update?
@ScrubSquad115 There's a whole world outside of the Internet and people don't seem to realize that when it comes to games and the "discussions" had here.
Very little of this culture war stuff has an impact outside of Twitter.
Assassin's Creed Shadows was such an innovative project for Ubisoft... it enhanced the Anvil Engine to great lengths & gave us a beautiful, lived in world.
Its story only works with the 2 characters that lead it. It's sad that most of its criticism came from people who just couldn't fathom playing a factual, historical character that elevated the narrative the game offered.
Alas, Shadows will be remembered for its ingenuity and guts to defy the norm & shoot for a story that entangled a shinobi & a Samurai to a great adventure.
@YtGille@VXerikos@TheZodiacGamer And once he accepts who he is and embraces his power for the sake of his son, his family, that driving force present in the old trilogy as well, he isn't holding back anymore.
And again, in Ragnarok, he doesn't want to fight Freya, so he refuses to fight, that's not weakness.
@YtGille@VXerikos@TheZodiacGamer He's never been weak, arguably the weakest he's been was when he was a footsoldier at Ares' army.
The weakness you're referring to, is him holding back his rage because he was running from his past.
@YtGille@VXerikos@TheZodiacGamer You're arguing something entirely different lmao
I'm not talking about the quality of the game, just that these "real life topics" you're looking to avoid have always been present in the franchise.
If you don't want to play the games, no one's stopping you
@YtGille@VXerikos@TheZodiacGamer I won't argue that the term "real life topics" is so nebulous that it encompasses everything in storytelling and gameplay.
But if it's to do with Kratos dealing with his emotions and guilt, that's something that he's been constantly dealing with for every game he's been in.
@YtGille@VXerikos@TheZodiacGamer Emotions like guilt?
Something present, again, in the GoW Trilogy?
You said Kratos is old and weak.
Someone responds that he isn't weak, he's running from his past and trying to not be the monster he once was.
And you reply saying you don't want real life topics in your games.
@YtGille@VXerikos@TheZodiacGamer If you're referring to real life events, there isn't anything in the GoW series I remember that has analogs to real life, just broad topics.
@YtGille@VXerikos@TheZodiacGamer Real life topics are inherent to any form of escapism, no matter how fantastical.
You wouldn't have violence in God of War if it was not something we see in real life.
You might mean politics, but that is not what is being stated here.
@YtGille@VXerikos@TheZodiacGamer When you start to use any half of yours, I'll consider it.
Real life topics can be found in every piece of fiction, so your statement makes no sense unless you divorce yourself from all forms of media entirely.
