The project isn't dead, but the last year and a half or so has not been good to me. Will eventually make a more detailed post, but for now just know that I'm putting the pieces of my life back together and will eventually resume normal development.
@strawed__ Unsure actually, I'll have to look into it. In the meantime you can always play the ModDB release, its a very beginner friendly installation, and it comes with the instructions included
This dumb post is doing better than I thought. If you like Half-Life stuff, check out the rest of this profile to learn about Decay: Solo Mission, a new HL1 mod I'm working on!
@normalowl Not only that, but it's been confirmed several times by Valve that the Black Mesa incident actually happened in the 2000s, both by game manuals and Laidlaw himself!
(Translation: I already had this TV asset laying around and I'm too lazy to make a new one)
A fun fact about the new TV prop, it's actually a modified version of a TV from an Action Half-Life map I designed a couple years back, "ahl_lantrix". It's on Gamebanana if you wanna take a look at it!
A WIP shot of the dorms from Half-Life Decay: Solo Mission's fifth chapter.
Was never happy with how office-like the original rooms felt so I tried to add a couple minor things just to make it more feasible as a bedroom.

In the original version of decay, the wall behind the front desk was entirely blank, so for some flair I threw up a simple Black Mesa logo.
Was never entirely happy with the end result though, felt far too plain. So while working on this section, I decided to give it another go.
@CptBwni Sort of. Decays missions all had to be crammed into a single map each, and each map rendered twice since it was co-op. As a result, the level of detail on the maps had to be spread thin as to not hit engine limits. Solo Mission however doesn't have either of these limitations

This is perhaps the most "who cares" detail I've ever mentioned regarding D:SM, but for some reason it's stuck in my head.
In HL1, the office style doors have grating covering the window, but I've been using reinforced glass. Should I go back to the grating, or keep the glass?
