@sligochick@willocallaghan Yeah, I’m talking about next week if there is any permutation where Galway done progress from here. An Offaly win, Wexford win and a Dublin KK draw would leave Offaly, KK and Galway all on 6.
@philiponeill759@mlverney Never liked this idea. If you have someone who can score sidelines that’s a great weapon, if they are worth two it’s too harsh on the opposing team for dispossessing someone. I’m from Galway so you think I’d be in favour, scored 5 in 2020 v Limerick and lost by 3 that day.

@mlverney I think throw ins are a joke, particularly the ones in the middle of a match where the ref just fecks it in between two lads and they swing like mad. I think let play continue, until someone fouls. In rucks like that someone is always fouling.
@jowrotethis Maybe not best but it's notable, in The Batman when it seemed like Something in the Way was a needle drop only for it to then be turned off by Bruce who has presumably been listening to it on repeat for hours.
@willocallaghan Agreed re Owens, I don’t always agree with him but he’s a fair ref. Just think it’s silly to have any ref in that position when it should be possible to just separate the provinces.
@willocallaghan Did you see it Will? I don’t know why the GAA don’t put Munster refs on Leinster matches and vice versa. Owens is fair and wouldn’t be thinking about next weekend but nobody should be put in that position.
@ShaneSaint But in hurling a free in most cases is a score, a shot from play isn't. If the shot ends the advantage the attacker should stop running and take their free every time, which would just lead to more stoppages.
@Kevhinch14@ShaneSaint As far as I know that comes in for the 2025 season. But I think you're right that Joe McDonagh is treated differently to the Liam McCarthy, so the Offaly lads are grand to play.
@Kevhinch14@ShaneSaint Yeah, it would cause other problems. But are they allowed to even play in both matches when a week apart right now?
Won’t happen anyway, I just think it would be great if possible.
