This is one of the many reasons why Obsession is SO GOOD. Having your main “antagonist” also be the victim of the main “protagonist” made me still to this day think about the movie way after the credits rolled.

Curry Barker says ensuring that Nikki is accurately portrayed as a victim in ‘OBSESSION’ was just as important as making her scary in the film.

“What you’re left with is a really tragic story about a man & a woman & leaning into the realism of that was really important.”

OBSESSION not only delivers in its scares and tension, but was able to convey a simple yet terrifying narrative. Well written layered characters thrown into a “deal with the devil” situation, showing the audience what happens when incapable humans gain absolute power. 10/10 movie

So the story behind this is, the little girl was terrified of BeetleJuice when she first saw him 2023, but he promised he wouldn’t scare her or be scary…. Now they are besties. This is so cute!!! He was so sweet

@joerussotweets I once had the pleasure of talking to Dean Cundy, the Director of Photography for “The Thing.” I don’t think it’s much of a secret now, but he explained how he gave all the humans eye lights and did not for the ones who are apart of The Thing. That’s kinda how you know.
