I'd like to remind everyone that Sophie Cunningham (@sophaller) was a placekicker and homecoming queen in high school.
Oh, and she had a mean finger pointing game even then.
Australian discovers Texas Roadhouse…
First, he calls it a “fancy restaurant,” and he couldn’t be more wrong. Texas Roadhouse isn’t just a fancy ole restaurant. It’s a giant slice of heaven brought down to earth.
This man loves the bread, the free refills, the service.
In response to those outside the US complaining about tipping there: “You don’t have to tip… you WANT to tip. These are the most wonderful people on earth.”
“I don’t even know why some of you Americans are so angry all the time; you guys have Texas Roadhouse in your country.”
You got that right. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Meet Pasha Palanker (@PashaPalanker), a retired U.S. Army Special Ops Master Sergeant.
While serving in Iraq on counter-IED operations, he survived multiple blast injuries, encountered a suicide bomber at close range, and was awarded two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star Medal with Valor.
Today, Pasha is a mental health advocate, speaker - and now, a Hokie legend.
He was part of Saturday’s pregame jump at Lane Stadium, where shifting winds turned a routine landing into a moment none of us will forget. Through it all, he stayed composed and was safely rescued by Virginia Tech & Blacksburg first responders.
We’re glad you’re good, Pasha 🤝

This is the sound of the all-electric Tesla Semi.
Deliveries of the new Production Version begin this year:
• Long Range model has 500 miles of range with a full payload.
• 1.7 kWh per mile efficiency (average diesel semis are roughly 5–7 kWh per mile equivalent energy use).
• Tri-motor powertrain with 800 kW of power (~1,073 hp), 3x the power of the average diesel semi.
• The battery in the Semi is designed to last 1M miles.
• Standard Range model (325 mi) has a similar turning radius as a Tesla Model 3/Y.
• 0.4 drag coefficient.
• Independent truckers are able to buy a Semi for use, not just fleet owners.
• Semi fleet uptime is at 95% due to extremely low maintenance and reliability.
• Integrated safety features in the Semi protect not just the driver but others on the road as well.
• Future wireless charging.
• Semi uses the same 4680 battery cells found in the Cybertruck.
• Semi can power a whole refrigeration trailer or any powered unit. The technology is shared with Cybertruck Powershare.
