Even *IF* none of the GOAT builds are Overpowered tomorrow, it’s easy to imagine the very slippery slope we’re in for.

What happens when they drop MVP KD? For years it’s been T-Rex arms KD, but now you actually get the best of both worlds. Wemby?

OP animations that normally wouldn’t be accessible at those ratings, animations that are locked behind Veteran 3 this year can now be unlockable with $ (Kobe’s jumpshot for example), or even animations that aren’t dropped AT ALL like something that’s not dropping until Season 8 can be used ONLY on this one player, etc

Next year they could let animations be changed, jumpshot speeds, etc.

In my opinion, there’s a VERY high chance they take this as far as it can go, which would ultimately just basically make custom builds pointless.

The game itself isn’t in the best spot, and it’s entirely possible the BIGGEST thing that separated “park” or “mycareer” from any mode will be obsolete - it’ll just be a reskinned MyTeam.

And are we even gonna talk about the fact that this was dropped in SEASON 2, AFTER people have made regular custom builds?
