No crowning glory for Halsall on Coronation weekend. The firsts travelled to @PrescotOdyssey for their half of the double header, losing by 27 runs chasing 145.

The seconds had a day to forget in front of the coronation party crowd. Succumbing to a 5 wicket defeat.

Saturday brought mixed results for Halsall. With the firsts succumbing to a 68 run defeat with their Birkenhead St. Mary's counterparts.

The seconds, however, continued their good start to the season with victory away at Asheville Road with a 3 wicket win.

With the 1s bowling @Newvictoria_CC out for 58 and knocking it off for 5.
The 2s beat @GGCCwigan by 10 wickets after bowling out for 58 too.

Well here it is, the start of the Halsall cricket season. The firsts start away at newly promoted @Burscough_CC and the seconds at home to @Newvictoria_CC (there’s always an early season game with New Vic, whether it be firsts or seconds)
