On Union Pledge Day, observed annually on 18 July, we remember the pledge made by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, along with their fellow Founding Fathers, to build one nation united under a single flag. That pledge laid the foundation for a journey that has made our Union the source of our strength, resilience and prosperity. Today, we continue to build on that legacy, guided by the Founding Fathers' vision, as we build a more prosperous future for generations to come.

في يوم عهد الاتحاد الذي يصادف 18 يوليو من كل عام، نستذكر العهد والوعد الذي جمع المغفور لهما بإذن الله الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان والشيخ راشد بن سعيد آل مكتوم وإخوانهما الآباء المؤسسين على بناء وطنٍ واحد يجمع الجميع تحت رايته. ومن ذلك العهد، انطلقت مسيرة أثبتت أن الاتحاد هو مصدر قوتنا ومنعتنا وازدهارنا، وكان ذلك العهد نقطة الانطلاق نحو وطنٍ لا يعرف المستحيل. اليوم، نواصل البناء على ذلك الإرث، مستلهمين رؤية الآباء المؤسسين وعزيمتهم، لترسيخ مكتسبات دولتنا وصناعة مستقبل أكثر ازدهاراً لأجيالنا القادمة.

I was pleased to meet four outstanding students from Dubai Schools – Al Khawaneej: Ali Al Jarwan, Khalifa Al Marzouqi, Omar Al Balushi and Saeed Abu Al Shawareb, following their gold medal win at the International Greenwich Olympiad, held in London from 14 to 20 June 2026. Their project, 'Smart Irrigation Train', outperformed entries from more than 80 countries. These students are a source of pride for the UAE and an inspiring example for students across Dubai. Creative minds are our greatest national asset and the driving force behind progress and prosperity. To all our students, I say: pursue knowledge with determination, let your ambitions know no limits, and make excellence a lifelong pursuit.

سعدت باستقبال أربعة طلاب متميزين من مدارس دبي – الخوانيج، وهم: علي الجروان، وخليفة المرزوقي، وعمر البلوشي، وسعيد أبو الشوارب، عقب فوزهم بالميدالية الذهبية في أولمبياد غرينتش الدولي للابتكار، الذي أُقيم في لندن خلال الفترة من 14 إلى 20 يونيو 2026، عن مشروعهم "القطار الذكي للري"، متفوقين على طلبة من 80 دولة تنافسوا على تقديم أفضل الابتكارات المستقبلية… الطلبة الأربعة نموذج مشرّف لشباب الإمارات، وقدوة لطلبة وطالبات دبي في الاجتهاد والمثابرة. فالعقول المبدعة تمثل الثروة الحقيقية للأمم، والمحرك الرئيس للتقدم والازدهار. ولطلابنا وطالباتنا نقول: ضاعفوا جهودكم في طلب العلم، واجعلوا طموحاتكم بلا سقف ولا حدود، وليكن السعي إلى التميز نهجاً دائماً في رحلتكم التعليمية وحياتكم العملية.

Three years ago, we launched the 360 Services Policy. Since then, we have comprehensively transformed 1,474 government services through an integrated approach, significantly reducing the time, effort, and costs required of customers.

As part of the 2025 Hamdan Bin Mohammed Programme for Government Services, organised by the Dubai Model Centre at the General Secretariat of The Executive Council of Dubai, we honoured the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority team, led by Saeed Al Tayer, with the Hamdan Flag. Congratulations also to the Dubai Land Department for winning the Best Pioneering Initiative Award; to the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai that won the Best Digital City Experience Award; and to the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and DP World for securing the Shared Digital Channels Award.

Thank you to all the government entities that continue to set benchmarks worthy of Dubai’s name. Our journey continues because our goal is for the Government of Dubai to remain closest to the people, the quickest in meeting their aspirations, and the world’s most inspiring model for delivering government services.

قبل ثلاثة أعوام، أطلقنا سياسة خدمات 360، ومن خلالها طوّرنا 1,474 خدمة حكومية بشكل شامل ومتكامل، بما أسهم في اختصار الوقت والجهد والتكاليف على المتعاملين.

وضمن برنامج حمدان بن محمد للخدمات الحكومية 2025، الذي ينظمه مركز نموذج دبي التابع للأمانة العامة للمجلس التنفيذي لإمارة دبي، كرّمنا فريق هيئة كهرباء ومياه دبي بقيادة الأخ سعيد الطاير براية حمدان. ونبارك لدائرة الأراضي والأملاك فوزها بجائزة أفضل مبادرة رائدة، وللإدارة العامة للهوية وشؤون الأجانب – دبي فوزها بجائزة أفضل تجربة مدينة رقمية، ولكلٍ من دائرة الاقتصاد والسياحة ودي بي ورلد فوزهما بجائزة القنوات الرقمية المشتركة…

As part of our commitment to make Dubai the world's new hub for the gaming industry and a home for the world's leading talent, companies, and investments in this promising sector, I attended the Dubai Gaming Retreat, organised by the Dubai Media Council, where I met representatives from 80 of the sector's leading local and global companies. The retreat aimed to define shared priorities and shape the next phase of the industry's development in Dubai. We have full confidence in the team led by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to continue advancing Dubai's media ecosystem by building the infrastructure, policies, and regulatory frameworks needed to transform innovative ideas into global success stories.

Today, I reviewed the results of the Emirati Supplier Programme, managed by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development, a subsidiary of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism. In 2025, the programme facilitated contracts worth AED1.78 billion for Emirati SMEs, marking a 38% increase from 2024. This programme reflects our ambition to create the world's most empowering environment for entrepreneurs in Dubai. Emiratis will always remain at the heart of our priorities. Supporting entrepreneurs and Emirati start-ups is an investment in Dubai's future, in the potential of our people, and in the companies that will lead tomorrow's economy and contribute to achieving the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33.

اطلع�� اليوم على نتائج برنامج المورِّد الإماراتي، الذي تديره مؤسسة محمد بن راشد لتنمية المشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة، إحدى مؤسسات دائرة الاقتصاد والسياحة بدبي، حيث سجل البرنامج خلال عام 2025 تعاقدات بقيمة 1.78 مليار درهم للشركات الإماراتية الصغيرة والمتوسطة، بنمو 38% مقارنة بع��م 2024 ... هذا البرنامج يجسد طموحنا بأن تكون دبي المدينة الأكثر تمكيناً لرواد الأعمال على مستوى العالم، وسيظل أبناء الوطن في صميم أولوياتنا، فدعم رواد الأعمال والشركات الإماراتية الناشئة هو استثمار في مستقبل دبي، وفي طاقات أبنائها، وفي شركات ستقود اقتصاد الغد، وتسهم بفاعلية في تحقيق مستهدفات أجندة دبي الاقتصادية D33.

I witnessed the launch of the Dubai Digital Twin Platform during a workshop organised by Dubai Municipality. The platform integrates digital 3D models of more than 195,000 buildings, 330,000 public facilities, and 280,000 infrastructure assets across the emirate. This project embodies Mohammed bin Rashid’s vision of harnessing advanced technology and data to build a city that is better prepared for the future. It supports objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33, while strengthening the emirate's global competitiveness and leadership in digital transformation. In the race for excellence, leadership will ultimately belong to cities that shape integrated digital ecosystems and embrace artificial intelligence while fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors as well as entrepreneurs.

شهدت إطلاق منصة التوأم الرقمي المتكاملة لإمارة دبي، خلال ورشة عمل نظمتها بلدية دبي. تغطي المنصة أكثر من 195 ألف م��نى في دبي تم تحويلها لنموذج رقمي ثلاثي الأبعاد وتشمل 330 ألف من المرافق والأصول، و280 ألف عنصر من شبكة البنية التحتية ... يجسد هذا المشروع رؤية محمد بن راشد في توظيف التكنولوجيا المتقدمة والبيانات لبناء مدينة أكثر جاهزية للمستقبل، بما يدعم مستهدفات أجندة دبي الاقتصادية D33، ويعزز تنافسية الإمارة وريادتها العالمية. في سباق التميز القادم، ستكون الريادة للمدن التي تمتلك منظومات رقمية متكاملة، وتتبنى تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي عبر منظومة شراكة متكاملة تجمع القطاعين الحكومي والخاص ورواد الأعمال.

During a meeting of The Executive Council, we approved a set of major initiatives and projects worth AED18 billion. These include the Dubai Cultural Strategy 2033, comprising 40 strategic initiatives; and the Dubai Customs Strategy aimed at further strengthening Dubai's position as a global trade hub. We also approved the First Al Khail Street Development Plan, which will deliver a new strategic corridor parallel to Sheikh Zayed Road, featuring a 15-kilometre elevated roadway, serving 2.6 million people.

Additionally, we approved the 'Dubai Population Now' Real-Time Population Census and Growth Monitoring Initiative, which provides real-time data to support decision-making following Dubai's population surpassing 4.58 million at the end of 2025, and the Emirati Talents Strategy in Private Education to create opportunities for 3,000 Emiratis by 2033. In addition, we approved the Dubai Investor Register, a unified platform for individual and institutional investors across the emirate, including the free zones.

We also approved a new visual identity for Dubai's address system, along with the launch of the Global Centre for Technology and Innovation in Islamic Finance. Under the leadership and vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai has become synonymous with ambition and achievement. Our development journey continues, our momentum never slows, and our initiatives keep evolving. The future will always be brighter for Dubai and its people.

خلال اجتماع المجلس التنفيذي، اعتمدنا حزمة من المبادرات والمشاريع النوعية في دبي بقيمة 18 مليار درهم. فقد اعتمد المجلس استراتيجية دبي الثقافية 2033، التي تضم 40 مبادرة استراتيجية، كما اعتمدنا استراتيجية جمارك دبي، بهدف ترسيخ مكانة دبي محوراً عالمياً للتجارة، واعتمدنا خطة تطوير شارع الخيل الأول، لتنفيذ محور استراتيجي جديد موازٍ لشارع الشيخ زايد، يتضمن أول مسار علوي متصل بطول 15 كيلومتراً، ويخدم 2.6 مليون نسمة.

��ما اعتمد المجلس مبادرة "سكان دبي الآن" للتعداد اللحظي، لتوفير بيانات مباشرة وشاملة تدعم صناعة القرار، وذلك مع تجاوز عدد سكان الإمارة 4.58 مليون نسمة بنهاية عام 2025. واعتمدنا أيضاً استراتيجية الكوادر الإماراتية في التعليم الخاص، بهدف توفير فرص لـ 3 آلاف كفاءة إماراتية في هذا القطاع بحلول عام 2033.

كما اعتمدنا مشروع "سجل مستثمر دبي"، الذي يمثل منصة متكاملة للمستثمرين الأفراد والمؤسسات في إمارة دبي، بما يشمل المناطق الحرة، بهدف تسهيل ممارسة الأعمال، إضافة إلى اعتماد مبادرة الهوية البصرية المبتكرة لنظام العنونة في الإمارة، وإطلاق مركز التكنولوجيا والابتكار ف�� مجال التمويل الإسلامي ... بقيادة صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، جعلت دبي اسمها مرادفاً للطموح والإنجاز ... ومسيرة التطوير مستمرة، وزخم المشاريع لا يتوقف، والمبادرات تتجدد، والقادم، بإذن الله، دائماً أجمل وأفضل لدبي وأهلها.

As part of our efforts to enhance quality of life and urban services across the emirate, I have approved a new package of Dubai Municipality projects. These projects include the 'Dubai Falcon Market', the first of its kind in the region, celebrating our heritage with a future-forward vision; 'Dubai Creek Lighting', an 8 kilometre project that will transform the historic heart of Dubai, offering a unique nighttime experience; and the world’s first AI designed park, developed with community participation, and leveraging AI and data to shape the future of Dubai’s public spaces. Dubai continues to invest in innovative ideas that bring together heritage, technology, and quality of life for residents and visitors alike.
