@HtotheQ Agreed. Imran hardly played Pak domestic cricket. He was more into County and Shield cricket. Miandad had a great eye for talent and would recommend players to Imran for the national side. Akram the most successful and talented cricketer produced by Pak is a prime example
@BoriaMajumdar This Bangladesh issue is just the tip of the iceberg. Pakistan has been ill treated for some time now; starting from the post big 3 issue when Pak was promised bilateral issue and India backed out; Pak played the 50 over WC in India but India didn’t play in Pakistan in the CT
@ICC Hey ICC why didn’t the group toppers play against each other in the super six stage; I mean Ind v Sng and Aus v Afg. This way you all but cut the chances for the rest of the pack like SL and Pak
@Cricsam01 Sure but what about the NZ team that defeated India in the recent ODI series; no Henry, Santner, Williamson, Latham, Seifert, Allen, Sodhi etc
@Sports_Himanshu Pak best bet of reaching the semifinals is NZ beating Eng tomorrow. Then there won’t be this NRR scenario; will have only to beat India
@ICC Sorry ICC quite a pathetic format this one. I agree with the points being carried forward but by not playing the top of each group with the other in the super six stage it makes it hard for the lower teams to make it to the last four even by winning the remaining games.
