Russian occupation forces continue offensive operations in the Vovchansk sector.

According to the DeepState map, Russian forces control a significant area around the city and are putting pressure on Ukrainian defensive positions south of Vovchansk.

The main directions of the Russian offensive are toward Vilcha and southeast of the city.

Russian commanders are attempting to expand the territory under their control and push deeper into Ukraine's Kharkiv region.

**The situation on the Vovchansk front remains serious. The threat of further Russian advances persists.**

🇺🇦 CONFIRMED: RUSSIA’S ORDER OF BATTLE IN THE CAMPAIGN FOR UKRAINE’S FORTRESS BELT.

ISW’s September 30, 2026 assessment identifies eight Russian Combined Arms Armies operating along the approaches to Ukraine’s fortified Donbas cities.

Northern sector — Lyman:
• 1st Guards Tank Army — Moscow Military District
• 20th Guards Combined Arms Army — Moscow Military District
• 25th Combined Arms Army — Central Military District

Eastern sector — Sloviansk and Kramatorsk:
• 3rd Combined Arms Army — Southern Military District

Southern sector — Kostiantynivka:
• 8th Guards Combined Arms Army — Southern Military District

Southwestern sector — Dobropillia:
• 51st Combined Arms Army — Southern Military District
• 2nd Guards Combined Arms Army — Central Military District
• 41st Combined Arms Army — Central Military District

These formations are associated with Russia’s Western, Southern, Central, and Eastern Groupings of Forces.

Their objective is to break Ukraine’s fortress belt, threaten its supply lines, and capture the remaining Ukrainian-held strongholds of Donbas.

Eight army-level formations identified. Multiple military districts involved. Years of relentless attacks.

And Ukraine continues to resist.
