Pleased to announce the publication of the new edition of my textbook on Canadian politics, with a new title, new publisher, and great new price!
Very grateful to professors @DrLindaTrimble and Don Desserud (UPEI) for their positive endorsements.

@R_Sigurdson @UCalgary@UCalgaryArts I gave a talk on the BC election at our university open house today. There were more senior administrators in the audience than prospective students 😂
@juliaepower In the 1940s New Brunswick persuaded a court that sales taxes were direct. Basically they argued shop keepers were provincial tax agents and were collecting the tax directly from consumers. See, Atlantic Smoke Shops, Limited v. Conlon.
I wish @MisterJohnDoyle well in retirement, but I’m sure going to miss him. His recommendations were invariably spot on, but his insights on the cultural significance of television were even more impressive. I always read his column first each day. https://t.co/tpo4CjRVh2
My favourite Fleetwood Mac songs were written by Christine McVie. And the Legendary Christine Perfect album — released before she joined Fleetwood Mac and before she married John McVie — is a classic. A sad day but her perfect music will live on forever. https://t.co/dI0kvMtoHg
Another aging rock star releases an expanded version of a classic album. Note to music execs: I would be more likely to buy a classic rock album if you released an abridged version that cuts the three or four crappy songs from side two! https://t.co/4upROBnkoR
There is a lot of illness in the community. Half my class was absent today. Maybe it’s time for other universities to think about masks. https://t.co/y11uZ5cokU
I made it on to @keithbaldrey’s legendary bookcase! Super tickled and very grateful. Thank you Keith for promoting BC authors. And for your insightful reporting of course. #EngagingCanadianPolitics
@WhistlerBlckcmb great to finally see some snow on the slopes. I hope the reservation system for the on mountain lodges will be back again this season. That was the best change on the mountain since the introduction of high speed lift chairs!
.@ElectionsBC says it has concluded its investigation into @AnjaliApp and @dogwoodbc because the financing rules could only apply and proceed if she was an approved candidate by the party.
