There has been a lot of discussion about DRep compensation within the Cardano community, which is great to see. As we move into governance, it’s important to address the issues at hand. I understand both sides of the debate—there are valid reasons for why DReps should be compensated, but also compelling arguments for why they shouldn’t.

Here’s my stance: I’ve always put Cardano’s principles first, and that’s the reason I chose to become a DRep. I’ve held two other voluntary positions within Cardano, on Circle and now in the ICC, both of which I did with no expectation of payment—and I didn’t receive any pay for either. So, why did I choose to become a DRep? Because I care deeply about Cardano’s principles, and standing up for those principles goes beyond a paycheck.

Thank you to the 200+ of you who have entrusted me with close to 5 million ADA in delegation.
