Egyptian call themselves Arab and speak Arabic. Whatever they were before Arab conquest, they are completely disconnected from it.
In Iran however to this day every year everyone celebrates fire at last Wednesday of the year.
A tradition even older than Zoroaster.
I wonder what tradition Egyptians have older than Islam.
Names such as Cyrus, Darius, Xerxes, Persian kings or ancient Persian gods Mithra, Bahram, are very common names. Much more common than my name.
I wonder how many people named Tutankhamun or Ra you can find in Egypt.

And most importantly, we speak the same language, albeit changed a lot.
What language do Egyptians speak.

In short ask an average Egyptian who they identify with? Muhammad or Ra?, and ask an Iranian, majority will say Zaraoster and Cyrus, even if they are muslim.

FYI Zoroastrianism is the religion that came up with worshiping one all good god, and concept of heaven and hell.
After Jewish people were freed by Cyrus they were impressed by him.
Cyrus is called messiah in Old Testament and Torah.
And his religion started influencing the Abrahamic religions.
Also “paradise” is Persian. Literally means walled garden.

From my personal experience I also confirm that every Sikh I met was the most peaceful kindest person.
I think blame is 100% on the government and police.
1. Allowing only one group of people to carry weapons while others can’t? That’s injustice.
2. Even if someone is a racist criminal, when they are handcuffed and therefore are no longer a danger, it’s the police officer’s job to attend to him. “I don’t believe you” it’s not his job to decide if he was being truthful.

So yes, all anger must be directed to those who deserve it: the government and the police.
