Witnessing a mother taste a pinch of her baby’s poop is a sight you don't easily forget. 😲
No, she wasn't conducting a stool analysis—she was responding to a deeply ingrained folk belief: if a mother licks a bit of her sick baby's stool, the baby’s diarrhea will magically stop..
My guy once told me of a time when he would buy this packed Minimie chin-chin that he normally takes for a month or so alone but then his babe would come around and would finish it in a weekend or two.
Apparently, the babe would wake up on a Saturday morning and take the whole pack to bed and start snacking on it until she gets tired which she mostly never does.
He started noticing and was subtly telling her that she takes too much of the chin-chin but she’ll groan about it and say stuffs like “how much is chin-chin?”
This went on for long and he keeps buying it back until he told me about it. I advised him to stop buying it altogether and whenever he feels like taking it, let him buy the smaller pack
The babe noticed he stopped and was always asking why he didn’t buy it anymore whenever she comes around, and my guy will just say they didn’t have at the store.
This went on for long until she asked again another day and my guy just told her she could also buy it when she’s coming over the next time, which the babe actually did.
Then the funny thing happened after that 😂😂😂
@TheOddSolace I remember back uni when my roommate professed loudly that when he becomes a political office holder in Nigeria he must loot funds and some others agreed that they would do same.
Rome built stadiums to stop its own people from rising up. Two thousand years later, we're still walking into the same trap — only we pay for it now.
Al Jazeera's Basel Ghazoghli breaks it down.
@UTDKarra@David_Ornstein@TheAthleticFC 'Deal is subject to medical ' but you are already looking ahead to the next one. You need to take this one in first.
