َمَا يُجْدِيكَ بَعْدَ المَوْتِ شَيْءٌ
سِوَى مَا كَانَ مِنْ قَلْبٍ سَلِيمِ

وَمَا أَسْلَفْتَ مِنْ عَمَلٍ شَرِيفٍ
وَمَا أَبْقَيْتَ مِنْ خَيْرٍ عَمِيمِ

وَمَا الأَمْوَالُ وَالأَوْلَادُ تُجْدِي
إِذَا فَرَّ الحَمِيمُ مِنَ الحَمِيمِ

وَعِنْدَ البَعْثِ تُجْزَى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ
بِمَا قَدْ كَانَ فِي اليَوْمِ العَظِيمِ

فَدَعْكَ مِنَ الَّذِي يَفْنَى وَحَاذِرْ
مُجَانَبَةَ الصِّرَاطِ المُسْتَقِيمِ

تَذَكَّرْ أَنَّ هَذَا العَيْشَ ظِلٌّ
وَمَا هُوَ بِالمُخَلَّدِ وَالمُقِيمِ

وَلَيْسَ الفَوْزُ إِلَّا فَوْزَ يَوْمٍ
تُزَحْزَحُ فِيهِ عَنْ نَارِ الجَحِيمِ
