Remembering Tony Hancock born #OTD 12 May 1924. He is best remembered for Hancock's Half Hour, broadcast on radio from 1954 and on TV from 1956 all written by Galton and Simpson. G&S also wrote his first feature film, The Rebel, in 1961.
