Oh my goodness... what a mad 2 days it has been! It’s been so great to see our lovely Y11 students again as well as meeting new students ready for Y12. We will continue to consider applications until 28th August.
We are delighted that 8 of our SF students - Ellie, Jess, Kalani, Leah, Nicole, Roisin, Rory & Will - have received offers from Oxford & Cambridge Universities. Their resilience, determination & hard work in such challenging times is admirable. @HandESixthForm
Good morning everyone! Sorry it’s been such a long time since our last post. Welcome back to lockdown! Yes, it’s far from ideal, but it is the right thing to do. Remember, communication is absolutely the most important thing to help us all navigate through this time. Mr M
Need something that gets you in the festive mood, radiates joy & shines light into the current dark? Look no further than our 'Christmas at Home'. It's fab! Donations to Isabel Hospice instead of ticket sales https://t.co/jhs7x0UB39 here. @Music_HEX

If you feel like you’ve made wrong subject choices or chosen the wrong provider, you can always change your mind within the first two weeks of September (subject to meeting entry requirements and spaces on courses).
We can’t wait to see you all tomorrow! Remember, it is vital that you talk to a member of staff about your plans even if you are going elsewhere for Sixth Form. Mr Marlow.
Everything is in order and good to go for tomorrow! Remember, we are open from 8am. Current Y11s go to your allocated room and read the coloured paper telling you what to do next but make sure that you see a member of staff before you leave!
Please can everyone socially distance from one another tomorrow. We appreciate that it might be difficult at times. There are sanitiser stations at school but please wear a mask if you when inside. There will be lots of opportunity to go outside too.
'If you really love Maths, you should do Further Maths!' Here is the Further Maths taster lesson for you to see if it's for you! https://t.co/Z329ylS7s7
The next few lessons are from the Maths Department, so here is some information about Mr Corner, Sixth Form Lead for Maths. Mr Corner oversees Maths and Further Maths A Level. Mr Corner loves the great outdoors & is a trustee for our partner school, Eden High School, Uganda.
Did you miss our online induction? Fear NOT! This evening I will be sharing some of the taster lessons made by my fabulous colleagues again! First up is Psychology, our most popular A Level course at @HandEHighSchool taught by Mr Gibbs & Mrs Rogers. https://t.co/5AQ9uwll9U
Below are 3 slides containing the Enrolment key information. Even if you are unhappy with your results, please come and see us on Thursday so we can meet with you and discuss your options. Of course, everything will be done safely and at a social distance. Mr Marlow
Good afternoon! So, on Thursday (results day!) students will be issued with Centre Assessed Grades (CAGs) only. The official grading will come week commencing 24th August and sent to schools but we are waiting on more information from Ofqual. Mr Marlow
Good morning! It's the week of GCSE results! Although you might be feeling some apprehension off the back of A Level results 2020, please rest assured that as a school we will endeavour to do our best in supporting you to move forward into this next stage of education.
