@ianv_vs@miagothstan@hyeon_core Literally was never a comparison between companies. The question was why people hate HYBE, so I gave some reasons. You're free to disagree but you gotta use your brain first
Luxury brands will throw deals at basically any idol. This isn't a flex, it's an admittance that MEOVV was created more for brand deals than it was for music. Which sucks because MEOVV has talent, they were just made to be influencers cosplaying as Kpop idols.
@phrita_xxvs@AuroraCanny so what?bbmon has been 4years in the kpop while meovv is only 1year in kpop so theres a big difference but bbmon with 4 years still has no luxury brands
@BABYMONSTER1st Hilariously enough, from what I can find, all shows except the Manilla show are completely sold out (even Kyocera Dome according to YG Japan website. So literally, of all the shows they have started selling tickets to (17 shows) 16 of them are sold out. Manilla soon to follow.
@AnnaEirwyn The problem is she got known for her looks before she was ever known for her talent. Had TBL spent the time to create a base for MEOVV in the Kpop industry before throwing them into brand deals then they would be better off.
@BABYMONSTER1st People also seem to forget that there's literally tape you can wear that will change the shape of your eyes lol. And your cheeks... and basically every part of your face.
@fareeyhah@miagothstan@hyeon_core Literally was never a comparison between companies. Idk where you feel the need to make it one. The question posed was why people hate HYBE. So I answered. For some reason you don't have good reading comprehension
@fareeyhah@miagothstan@hyeon_core Not really a comparison. The question was why people hate HYBE. I provided an answer with some information to back it up. HYBE is a terrible company that ranked 48/50 on a human rights audit, and their subsidiary ADOR is suing Danielle from NewJeans without providing evidence.
@fareeyhah@miagothstan@hyeon_core No, those three were not part of the audit. Hybe was the only kpop company to be audited. Idk about SM and JYP but YG holds three ISO certifications (Meaning they adhere to top international standards) for Occupational Health & Safety, Compliance Management and Anti-Corruption.
@irlkel It's also not the first time in the history of music that an artist has made a song featuring lemons, limes or lemonade. Let be for real, accusing people of copying because they are using the same citrus is insanity.
@miagothstan@hyeon_core Because HYBE is a really bad company. Ranked 48th out of 50 major Korean companies in the Korean Bar Associations most recent corporate human rights due diligence assessment. They scored a total 2.25/12. Also their subsidiary ADOR is currently suing Danielle without proof.
@cloudsunderStar Uh... Babymonster netted the company 40billion Korean Won in 2025 alone... Their the biggest GG of their generation... I think they blew up more than anyone ever expected.
@Vernica45837557@cloudsunderStar Their the biggest GG in the world.... Other than dethroning BTS as the biggest Kpop group in the world (was never going to happen), I'm not sure how much bigger they could have been lol. Also the most famous female idols because Blackpink boosted their solo careers.
@BABYMONSTER1st I think I speak for all of us when I say we need a YouTube video of them all playing this game. I feel like the shenanigans will be insane.
@fpskaze@BM_Baemon7 They might do that for the full album. But an EP with 4 songs makes sense to only have one title track. Also the Choom EP is going to have 3 MVs, just separated a bit more so SHIT can get it's necessary promo.
Also, never realized that Click Clack was a title track too lol.
@fpskaze@BM_Baemon7 Double title could negatively impact streams for their focus song. Could work, but might not. SHIT is a summer song, they wanted it on here but decided to have it as their summer single, so they moved Locked In over. And their waiting an extra month because of the SHIT promo.
@fpskaze@BM_Baemon7 We Go Up sure, but I think that was a lot to do with the absence of Rami, Choom however is quickly on its way to being million sellers. Considering Circle Charts + Digital sales they are probably pretty close to 1m sales and it's only been out for just over a month.
