Hello all, been a busy boy and not had time to post. I’ve also been a poorly boy too. I’ve come down with a terrible rash that keeps getting infected and the doggy doctors don’t know what it is! 🥴 any other bassets suffer with rashes?

@Jemima114 Funny you should say that, I fell in the canal and dad and his friend had to fifth me out, scared myself stupid. Got an ear infection and that’s when the itching started, the vet says it’s not related though

My horrible itchy rash is all lumpy and spreading all over now, back to the vets we go, I should have my own revvolvibg door fitted

@WilburBasset I’ve had it, it tastes so horrible, mum mixed it with meat paste. We don’t like the side effects.

Vet says it’s an allergy but we don’t yet know. In2 month its cost £750 in medication. I have to have royal canine food at £60 a bag in case I’m allergic to meat! I’ve had antibiotics, steroids, apoquil, I’m now on cytopoint mthly injections but it’s flared back up after just 2wk
