This is probably a long shot, but if anybody happens to be in DC this weekend and plans on visiting Arlington, I would love to see a fresh photo of my husband’s grave in Section 60.

There’s just something about knowing people still stop by, still say his name, still remember. 🇺🇸⭐🇺🇸
Humanity, created by God in all its grandeur, is today facing a pivotal choice: either to construct a new Tower of Babel or to build the city in which God and humanity dwell together. In Jesus Christ, this humanity in its grandeur becomes the Way, the Truth and the Life, opening the path for each of us to grow toward fullness. #MagnificaHumanitas

@jdflynn@ChadTheBad Also, they can wear black - most parishes just don't have black vestments. A group of men and I are getting together to donate funds to our parish for black vestments so that we have them for our funerals.
@HarrisonGarlic1 I like these tremendously - it's my EDC and has been a gift for the last two confirmandi I have been connected to.

Where are we Catholics buying our icons these days? I recall a kerfuffle about one company, but I can't recall where we ended up. Ideas @HaleyCarrots@jdflynn@BackwardsFeet?
Only one chance in this lifetime…
Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him.
I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.
@JLLiedl@LaKusch Maybe it’s my bias as a St Cloud native, but Alex and Fergus are not “up north” to me.
In fact, even Moorhead feels “north” but not “UP north”
Is anyone in the market for a 700-year-old Templar Knights watchtower?
Because there's one for sale in the Lot valley, France. 7 bedrooms across 6 floors, a frescoed dining room, spiral staircase and views over a peaceful medieval village in the Lot region.
There's also a 2-bedroom stone cottage in the walled courtyard, an enclosed garden and a heated swimming pool.
Asking price: €550k ($634k).
The Templar Knights who built this probably didn't picture the pool. But here we are.
I have to believe that @canonlawyered knew what he was doing when he said he would “appreciate a deep dive into Ballum’s . . .” on this weeks @PillarCatholic podcast.
