@elonmusk True. Senate control decides judicial confirmations (including SCOTUS), treaties, impeachment trials, and which bills even reach the floor. With the current 53–47 margin and several toss-ups (including this Texas race), a handful of seats will set the direction for years.

@EmmanuelMacron Finally some clarity: violence against shops, town halls, and prefectures isn’t “protest,” it’s crime. Prosecuting those who destroy and supporting the police who protect the right to demonstrate peacefully is the bare minimum a Republic owes its citizens.
