Rowan Returns to the Rams!

We are delighted to announce the return of big striker Rowan Liburd!

The Saint Kitts & Nevis international striker rejoins the Rams having enjoyed a fruitful spell with the club in 2023 - scoring nine times in 18 appearances.

A Chelsea youth graduate, Liburd began his senior career at Billericay Town before a move to EFL side Reading in 2015. He then signed for Stevenage the following summer after a loan spell at Wycombe Wanderers.

Further loan periods at Leyton Orient, Hemel Hempstead and Guisely followed, before signing for the latter permanently in 2017.

Two seasons with the Lions followed before stints at Dartford, Welling United, a return to Billericay and Cheshunt, where he enjoyed a goal-laden time in Hertfordshire.

After leaving the Rams, he went on to appear for Sevenoaks Town, Chatham Town (reaching the Isthmian Premier playoff final in the process), Aveley and Cray Valley PM, where he finished last season.

Welcome back to the Rams, Rowan! Be sure to catch our new striker in action tomorrow when we play Maidstone United at Southwood. Kickoff is at 3pm!
