Uniform โ
I will be sad to see the green trousers go when @NHSEngland phase them out next year ๐ขbut for now I will enjoy wearing them for my new job which I start next week!๐
Today I truly understood the meaning of #occupationalidentity
After 6 years, I finished my part time job as a retail assistant, and now Iโm no longer classed as a student - two โidentitiesโ of mine now in the past.
Itโs an odd feeling but Iโm excited
for my next adventure๐๐ฉ๐ปโโ๏ธ
If you want to study #OccupationalTherapy or just want to know more about it whilst attending @DerbyUni#OpenDay today, come find us for a chat and to do some activities in our lovely OT kitchen (T012). We'd love to see you.
For #OTstudent and #OTgraduate
Do you still look at your OT books?
If not, what did you do with them? I have a few that are in great condition (some have my name written in and a few highlighted bits) but unsure what to do with them now ๐
3 years of university โ
Very grateful for all of the opportunities Iโve been able to undertake whilst studying OT at @DerbyUni โฆ
All which will hopefully help me in my new adventure as a rotational Occupational Therapist for @OT_CRH - roll on August!๐ฉ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐ #graduate#studentot
You never need to โjust man upโ.
Itโs #MensHealthWeek and weโre here to remind you itโs okay to reach out. Youโre no less of a man by opening up โ๐พ
Big thanks to https://t.co/J8gPmp07FN.diaries for this important illustration ๐ค
๐ The world is different if you live with a mental illness.
For #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek, we want people to truly understand what it is like to live in our shoes.
We are increasing opportunities on our Band 5 rotation and would welcome applications from #OTs wanting to work in a supportive OT team and supportive acute hospital. Applications via TRAC @DerbyOT@shirlmasterson@covcampus@HuddersfieldUni
First tweet ever๐ featuring me getting on with my Professional Identity assignment. In a few months time assignments will be no more!๐๐ป #OTstudent
