#Ontario parents in hotspots, definitely don't count on your kids heading back to school February 10th without an actual lockdown (and this is not an actual lockdown) to drive case numbers down. Given B117 variant and lack of real lockdown my Vegas bet is return after March break

You can't have it both ways, @Sflecce @fordnation. Education, and therefore teachers, are either essential or they're not. You can't ask teachers who are also parents of young children to get back to teaching with no provision for their little ones. This is cruel. No other word.

I am deeply sympathetic to business owners and precariously employed people, but there is no healthy economy without our health and health care system intact. All levels of government need to step up now. Lock down schools, all non-essential businesses and protect our hospitals.
