We were proud to join the 77th @southwestfdns Annual Conference for a lively conversation on restoring civics education and advancing innovation in philanthropy.

Daniels Fund President & CEO @HannaSkandera shared how the National Civics Bee has grown from just five cities to all 50 states, inspiring civic pride among the next generation. Attendees even put their knowledge to the test in a live Civics Bee hosted by Colorado state champion Cameron Parker.

Our Grants team also joined the conversation, with @LukeRagland showcasing how youth sports build confidence, leadership, and belonging for young people, and Allison Stuart highlighting how AI can enhance creativity and efficiency in philanthropy.

Last week, Daniels Fund President & CEO @HannaSkandera opened the Big Ideas session at the @PhilanthropyRnd Annual Meeting in Phoenix, inspiring leaders to think bigger, take bolder risks, and invest in ideas that can transform lives.

This marks another milestone in our ongoing commitment to expand opportunities for Daniels Scholars. As a Partner School, OU joins a select group of institutions that collaborate directly with the Daniels Fund to ensure Scholars have their FULL cost of attendance covered, including tuition, fees, housing, books, and more, so they can focus on what matters most: their education and leadership journey.

Scholars graduating from Partner Schools usually leave college DEBT FREE, ready to make a difference in their communities and careers.
