President Biden believes no one should be jailed just for using or possessing marijuana. To help remedy our nation’s failed approach to marijuana, President Biden pardoned federal and D.C. simple marijuana possession offenses. President Biden also called on governors to issue similar pardons for state offenses. And, President Biden requested that the Department of Justice and Department of Health and Human Services review how marijuana is scheduled under federal law.
In May 2024, the Department of Justice and Department of Health and Human Services began the process to reschedule marijuana from a Schedule I to a Schedule III drug under federal law. Following the President’s lead, governors in Maryland, Massachusetts, and Oregon also issued pardons for some marijuana state offenses.
Far too many lives have been upended because of our nation’s failed approach to marijuana. President Biden took action to right those historic wrongs.
LEGENDARY: #Bills head coach Sean McDermott has tied John Madden for third-most wins in #NFL HISTORY by a coach in their first eight seasons.
🤯
McDermott is extremely underrated.

The Detroit Pistons weren't going to let traffic and road closures caused by the New York City Marathon "derail" them on Sunday — jumping on the subway to make it to their game against the Brooklyn Nets on time. https://t.co/ooYHRCZR0Q

NEW: Glacier View, Alaska celebrated the Fourth of July by launching cars off a cliff while blasting "God Bless the U.S.A."
The event is an annual tradition that started in 2005 with tickets now costing $20.
Most years, about 6 vehicles are launched off the cliff however reports say they had about a dozen for this year's celebration.
Vehicles take off from one of two runways: One has a monorail and the other is freewheeling.
Most cars are launched with a piece of wood wedged against the gas pedal.
Epic.
Perhaps now it's time to move Stonehenge to Athens "where it can be looked after properly and everyone from around the world can visit it"?
All kidding aside, where was/is security in all of this? What a wake-up call for ancient world heritage sites. Hire security armed with stun guns! Tase violators!
To the "Just Stop Oil" hooligans, you are now equal to the Taliban who did the same thing by defacing and destroying the ancient Buddha statues of Bamiyan in 2001. Is that the company you want to be in?
You are not protesting, you are defacing and destroying the magnificent ancient heritage of humanity and Planet Earth.
Newsflash: you'll never score any points with acts of vandalism, you disgraceful flatbrains. Just stop oil, my bum, just stop yourselves. May you rot in hell for this. You are disgusting.
