The Meitei community's attempts to assert dominance over other communities in Manipur are unacceptable and have led to devastating consequences, including the loss of lives and displacement of thousands. The notion that they are the "undisputed rulers" is a harmful narrative that has fueled violence and discrimination against the Kuki-Zo community.

It's appalling that the armed militia #ArambaiTenggol and civil societies within the Meitei community are perpetuating this divisive rhetoric. The Kuki-Zo community's brave stance in refusing to accept this false narrative is admirable, and their right to self-determination and equality must be respected.

The #ManipurViolence is a stark reminder of the dangers of ethnic nationalism and the importance of promoting inclusivity, diversity, and social cohesion. Please stand in solidarity with the Kuki-Zo community and demand that the Meitei community and the Indian government take concrete steps to address the root causes of this conflict and ensure justice and equality for all communities in Manipur.
