@AAHPM This guy attended the Annual Assembly in Phoenix a few years back with me....now he’s decorating my office in attempts to keep occupied while mom attends #HAPC21 virtually from snowy Chicago.
Things that are great about a virtual conference!
- No 7am sessions (...in my time zone...)
- Comfy pants
- more #hpmbaby cameo appearances
- no flight delays

I remember @SDietzMD with a #hpmbaby a few years back. Brought my first two to Orlando the last time we met. Carrying on the tradition for #hapc21! “Edee” says hi everyone!
Thanks to maternity leave for 6 week old #HPMbaby I’m now an old pro at social distancing #COVID19. I was also stocked up on hand soap and sanitizer before the apocalyptic buy outs. Now as long as we have stock piles of wipes and diapers, I’m golden... #priorities
TFW you start off a #PalliativeCare consult and the patient or a family member is very defensive, scared or angry but by the end of the visit they know you are on their side and going to address the hard stuff together.
@DanlyDiane@acderinger I brought #hpmbaby last year when she was 8 weeks old! She is now a very active 14mo and it would be hard for me to convince her to be quiet during sessions, so it makes more sense for her to stay home with daddy and brothers. #hpm18#hpm19
@AuthorJShulkin @somedocs Hospice & Palliative Medicine (#hpm), Fam Med/primary care background, passionate about where those intersect. I wanna help people. I strive for clear communication with patients. Also #hpmbaby 1&2 give me grey hairs. Every. Day.
