-British counter-terror police ARRESTED 5 MEN near the RAF base.

-Authorities were called to the scene after a report of 3 suspicious vans near the base, in the Whelford area.

-The 5 men are suspected of preparing a TERRORIST attack later in the day...

There's lots of speculation that this is an Iran-linked plot, though that has not been confirmed.

The base has been used by the U.S. in attacks on Iran.
