Happy Path Works

Systems for Claude that produce your business documents in one pass: SOPs, job aids, agendas. Built, tested, documented.

[Happy Path Works @HappyPathWorks]

The first run is the finished run.

Happy Path Works builds ready-made Claude skills that produce branded business documents—procedures, job aids, agendas, action items, decision records—from plain-language notes, consistently, in one pass.

Free tools live. Document Ops launches 10 Nov.

@sophie_launch Building workflows and skills for businesses using Claude. Love how much growth your experiencing and happy to connect!

@benefit_he91583 I build Claude skills, so I'm biased, but this is one of the best features Claude has. Building processes that are followed every time is the point. The strongest skills enforce their rules with a check that runs, not just an instruction.

[Happy Path Works @HappyPathWorks]

@Elijahpabh Good breakdown. The only thing I'd add is enforcement. A rule written in the instructions gets followed most of the time. A rule backed by a check that runs gets followed every time.

@sidneycur Glad to connect! I’m working on workflows and skills for businesses using Claude.

Thanks — the free Action Items List is deliberately the low-friction entry. It turns meeting notes into a one-page branded action list that keeps the source quotes attached, and it refuses to write the document if an owner is missing or unsourced.

Discovery so far has been almost entirely through X and I’m also feeling out substack. Still pretty new to the space. Site is https://t.co/umhWG9r1op if you want to see the free skill and what’s launching Nov 10.

Looking to #connect with other operators and builders working on Claude skills for consistent business documents.

Specifically the ones that turn process notes or meeting notes into procedures, one-page job aids, agendas, or decision records that look the same every time.

The pattern that works is mechanical enforcement of the structure and brand, not another prompt that needs editing.

What operational document are you still producing by hand or with one-off prompts?

[Happy Path Works @HappyPathWorks]

For both, but the products are ready-made skills other operators load into Claude. The free Action Items List turns meeting notes into a one-page branded action list with the source quotes still attached. Document Ops (launches Nov 10) covers the rest: procedures, job aids, agendas, and decision records from process or meeting notes.

@Lyra0x_ Exactly— never is something that breaks unless there’s a check and enforcement to back it up! Great insight!

[Happy Path Works @HappyPathWorks]

Most Claude skills that claim “polished” reports fail the same three checks in SKILL.md:

1. No named failure the skill exists to stop.
2. “NEVER” or “one page” with nothing that actually checks it.
3. An example that only shows the happy path.

Open the file. Search for “never.” Then look for what stands behind it.

File review doesn’t prove the skill works, is safe, or fits your actual report. Try it on one real week of notes before the team does.

The full seven questions and the weak example are here:

Open a skill file before you install it.

Look for what the skill prevents, what backs its rules, and whether the example shows a catch or just the perfect example.

The free Skill Audit checks the same things and grades them. https://t.co/lKmQyHox1B

Before you install the Claude skill that “writes polished weekly status reports,” open the file.

A tidy icon and a zip don’t tell you much. Ten minutes in SKILL.md usually does.

[Happy Path Works @HappyPathWorks]

We ran a deliberately weak status-report skill through the free Skill Audit (v2.0.0). It returned FAIL.

Two hard fails: a stated “one page” limit that is never checked, and a soft “try to stay focused” with no exit.

The script is consistent on the fortieth file. A careful human still catches more on any single one.
