In 2021 the current S5&6 years will have left, so won't even see boys in the corridor during their education at NDHS.

Police in East Kilbride are appealing for help in tracing 14-year-old Aidan Lochrie. He was reported missing after leaving his school around 1.45pm. He was last seen leaving East Kilbride Shopping Centre towards an underpass on Telford Road around 2.45pm.

There is however, clear evidence of benefits of great local schooling that includes all children. The pros of coed massively outweigh those of ss. 👍😊

Education Scotland couldn't have been clearer in the consultation response: there is no convincing evidence that ss is superior to coed. Improving transitions will be a big benefit tho

It's bad enough that you think your preference for ss is more important than kids getting to use their local high school. Don't take away local schooling from primary kids too.
