We're proud to announce that we've just opened our London office, with @HonGeorgeDuff as our 1st International Editor, covering the world news that matters to you!
@mrgandrewwork@harbourtimes We don’t make money from this, just to make it clear, and we don’t profit at all. We respect your original work, we use different colours for our other sections. If you have any concerns, please email our editor at [email protected]
@mrgandrewwork@harbourtimes Absolutely. I’ve only just seen the @harbourtimes when you notified me of this and it’s very good, original content. We actually named it the Harbour express to be original. I hope this clears up any misunderstandings.
Just to clarify to everybody, we are not the @harbourtimes, and we don’t intend to emulate the @harbourtimes. We appreciate @mrandrewwork having raised this to us, and wish to clarify this. We’re a re-started publication, distinct from the other paper.
Seriously? Same colours, colours and font as @harbourtimes covering HK policy and politics since 2014. Given it takes 2 seconds to do a Google search, this looks like a deliberate rip off.
@mrgandrewwork@harbourtimes@harbour There is no harbour express in Hong Kong apart from our own. As said, I’ve never even seen the Harbour times before. I’ve only just googled it and to be fair it seems impressive. I wasn’t aware of this coincidence. There was no intention to confuse anybody. If you want, 1/2
@mrgandrewwork@harbourtimes@harbour We’re literally unpaid. To clarify, we’re not trying to rip @harbourtimes off, we’re not trying to copy anyone. We barely even cover Hong Kong politics. We cover more international politics, particularly British politics.
@mrgandrewwork@harbourtimes Rip who off? With all due respect, we aren’t even trying to emulate the style of any other publication. These are completely unfounded allegations. We don’t have the level of funding or the resources any paper you’ve just mentioned.
