This is genuinely funny. This isn't true (turtles navigate via smell, sight, and magnetism). And it doesn't make any sense (the feeling of sand carries no location data a turtle can use). But lots of people are getting very angry over the video anyways.

There have been several cases of irresponsible snake owners doing the same with live rats, only for the rat to overpower the stressed out snake and eat it alive.
The amount of brain dead NPC's coo'ing over this disgusting misinformation just fills me with hopelessness.
The reality is that the snake was too stressed to eat the active live mammal it was stuck in a small enclosure with with noway to get away from it. (1/2)
@cmkosemen That's not even the smallest falcon species, that title probably goes to the black thighed falconet which is about half the size of an American kestrel.
@_natastrophe_ If only they knew only 20% or raptors in average make it to their first birthday, or how they spend 90% of their time roosting and only burn energy flying to catch food or find mates. But alas what is concrete knowledge to their uneducated feelings...
I’m not gonna lie I actually genuinely can’t stand invasive species sympathizers. “It’s not their fault” well duh that’s like the definition of an invasive species !! Being artificially introduced and then taking tf over! Wbk it’s not their fault! They can still fuck off!!!
@chimplyfred How can you tell what conditions the animal is being kept in from a close up portrait?
They could be immaculately housed and live healthy long lives for all we know.
