This is stupid. We are forcing those rich people to sell their stocks and bonds to pay for this new tax. Their portfolios aren’t created equal. Some rich person might be able sell easy without much loss, like they own “Nvidia”. Others, own like “GitLab” and “Dropbox”. Also, the buyers will have advantage when the seller is forced to liquidate. The discount could between 0% to 10%. This can drop prices overall depending on how the portfolios are concentrated. Additionally, this is potentially a way to pass “over valued” assets to idiots. Their guard is lowered because you’re “forced” to sell.

What using income taxes wasn’t good enough? Just fucking increase the %.

They keep deporting our “tax slaves”. They been all been brainwashed to ignore the economic consequences. I’m a government worker and those “tax slaves” are needed to keep paying taxes to support my job. Most of the time these folks get paid below minimum wage and that helps keep grocery prices down nationwide. It’s a win-win for all Americans. Also, they have babies, which are naturalized, not just legally, but they integrate socially into the worker class. Typically, they have less support because their parents have no benefit , which will give my children an edge for exploiting them economically.

The state legislature wrote the telework fix bill to make telework cost the state something. They don’t like telework. It lowering property tax revenue.
