Bitcoiners are insane from outsiders perspective, because they think we are in a cult, how to explain to them that it’s them who are part of a cult, the fiat cult.
Megacities are rising, like this post states, everyone wants to live in the same superstar cities around the world, NYC, Paris, London have more in common with each other than rest of their own country.
City States are making a comeback.
America took more than enough continental land required for their population, then they extracted whatever other resources other countries were providing without annexing them using capitalism.
Basically the answer to the question “Is it even worth to annex this country when we can just extract all the resources without annexation?” was mostly “no”.
Most of the world was/is under America without even knowing it.
Under bitcoin standard the prices of houses will be slashed in half every 4 years, it seems like bitcoin halvening but actually the halvening would half the price of everything except bitcoin.
This is after everyone uses bitcoin to denominate their wealth, for maxis like us it’s already working, for anyone else they have to wait under they become a maxi which is inevitable.
2 ways capitalism is demonetizing real estate.
1. The Elon Musk way: open up other planets and moons for real estate.
2. The bitcoin way: have an alternative so lucrative everyone gives up real estate investing and uses it to store value instead.
People confuse having a job with being productive. In 2025, that’s no longer true. You can be employed and produce zero value and you can create massive value online and earn nothing for it. But how long can that imbalance last…?
I once watched a black-and-white movie from the 1950s and noticed a man whose job was to turn on the city’s streetlights after dark. Then came the automatic light switch, investors made money, and he lost his job.
Technology keeps doing that. Think about which jobs might disappear in the next 50 years, and invest in the companies building the replacements. It has always happened, and it will keep happening.
I’m not here to endorse Bitcoin, I post about it because it actually taught me more about capitalism than anything else, and I think everyone should learn about it too.
