Classic clickbait.

Claude didn’t ‘hack’ Bitcoin or crack any real private keys. It helped a guy recover his own lost 5 BTC wallet (~$400k) by:

• Searching his old laptop files
• Finding a 2019 backup
• Debugging a recovery script
The ‘15-bit key’ was a toy example (32k possibilities… your phone could brute-force it).

Real Bitcoin keys are 256-bit. That’s ~2²⁴¹ times harder.

Bitcoin’s cryptography is still untouched. This is recovery, not breaking the network.
