Earlier this week, I joined President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s @NGRPresident delegation to the #Mission300 Africa Energy Summit in Dar es Salaam, where Nigeria presented its National Energy Compact.

We remain committed to working with the @AfDB_Group @WorldBank @WorldBankAfrica, and other partners to achieve universal electricity access in Africa. Now, the focus must be on country-led implementation, ensuring affordability, accessibility, reliability, and sustainability.

Energy security is central to the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda. Nigeria will harness its abundant resources to industrialize, create jobs, and grow the economy—while staying aligned with the Paris Agreement.

2025 will be a pivotal year as we accelerate reforms and introduce new initiatives to transform Nigeria’s energy landscape.
