I don’t need a video for this.

They told us the country was broke when a vet needed a scan.

They were never broke when the money had to move overseas.

Interest, Social Security, Medicare, VA — that’s almost every dollar the government takes in now.

So they borrow the next dollar and call it “support.”

Support for who.

Not the guy sitting in a parking lot waiting on a claim.

Not the family that buried somebody and still has to fight a form.

I served. I know what a real brief sounds like.

This isn’t a brief. This is a shell game.

You can love the flag and still say the books are cooked.

You can remember 9/11 and still ask where the money went for twenty-five years after it.

I’m not posting this to make you panic.

I’m posting it because the clip pages will never sit still long enough to say it.

If this page feels slower now, good.

Read it. Then look at the number.

98 percent of the receipts are already spoken for.

Everything after that is debt with a speech attached.

The US debt crisis is entering uncharted territory:

Net interest, social security, medicare, healthcare spending, and veterans' benefits currently consume 98.4% of total federal government receipts, near the highest proportion on record.

This figure has surged +28 percentage points since 2022 and is only below the 2020 pandemic peak of ~99.0%.

Net interest alone has nearly tripled as a % of revenue, to a record 19.7%, accounting for roughly half of that +28 percentage-point increase.

By comparison, during the 2008 Financial Crisis, these expenditures did not exceed 90% of federal receipts.

In other words, mandatory spending and interest costs now consume nearly every Dollar the federal government collects.

What is the long-term plan here?

The nearly 3,000 people who died that day are not a backdrop for a campaign story about a relative who stopped taking the subway. If the point was post-9/11 fear among Muslim New Yorkers, say that. Calling that the center of 9/11 on the anniversary is why this clip keeps spreading.

Giuliani’s own aide was standing next to them and said it was a greeting, not a laugh-fest. The clip is 4 seconds with no audio, cut next to families crying. If the standard is “any smile during a 4-hour name reading is contempt,” then post the JD Vance clip too. Optics can still be bad without turning a hello into proof they were mocking the dead.
