Last day of the Easter holidays. 58P7 & 58M1 are mobilised to a fire in the open just off Hardley Lane.
Fire cause doubtful, with several used disposable BBQs found & no natural ignition source.
4 x Jets used to bring the fire under control and fully extinguish.
#BellsDowm 14:15 as our crews were mobilised to a pumps 18 commercial property fire in Southampton, alongside crews across Hampshire.
Our crews remained on scene until way after darkness fell

#BellsDown 15:11 as 58P7 is mobilised, alongside crews from @Redbridge and @Fareham17, to rescue 3 Teenagers stuck in mud at Calshot.
All 3 successfully located and brought to safety.
Make this too hot to handle - Black Mitsubishi L200Β OU57 YHS. Firefighters personal vehicle stolen from the Fire Station forecourt last night whilst he was providing On-Call emergency Co-Responder cover. How can this be right!!..π‘ Police aware.
#BellsDown 20:24 as our drill night got interrupted with a call to a vehicle on fire in #Fawley. BMW 520 diesel found well alight with flames lapping close to neighbouring properties.
2 x BA & 2 x Hose Reels used to knock back the flames & extinguish the fire.
#BELLSDOWN 20:13 as 58P7 is mobilised to a Chimney Fire in #Hythe.
Hot spots located going up the chimney. Hose & Rose used with chimney rods to spray water up the chimney to extinguish the fire. Full internal check carried out & post incident safe & well completed.
Just after 7:30am we were mobilised to a refuse lorry on fire in Beaulieu along with @Hardley58 . Quick actions by the refuse workers prevented a larger scale incident! Ensure you know how to safely and correctly dispose of batteries and electrical items. https://t.co/lMhLQO9lEN
Had a surprise visit to our Drill Night tonight as Santa came to visit onboard the Waterside Christmas Fire Engine
BA drills halted as the Dennis Fire Engine pulled up alongside 58P7 for a few photos and jingling Christmas tunes.
2 x FIRE CALLS so far today attended alongside @Beaulieu_49.
Fire Domestics, in Beaulieu & another in Hythe, caused by unattended cooking.
Fire caught early, only requiring PPV and post-incident Safe & Wells.
Now returned home station & ready for wherever we're needed next.
Today we attended Manor COE Infant School for their Christmas fete.
Great to see enthusiastic young faces (and some older ones too) as tours were given of 58P7.

Road closed & rapid extrication completed on 1 casualty, quickly handing them over to @SCAS999 for treatment.
Scene handed over to @HantsPolice for investigation and recovery actions.
@godd4rd Hi Matt. Sorry for the delay in replying. It was an interesting time, contingency plans were put in place incase we had a serious incident.
Fortunately, no house fires or serious events that required more than the water we held on the appliance.
#BellsDown 02:40 as our Firefighters aboard 58P7, alongside 44P1 from @Hythe44, were mobilised to a local school after fire alarm triggered.
Incident (fortunately) turned out to be a false alarm caused by a system malfunction.
System reset & appliances returned to Home Station.
#BellsDown 06:32 as "Reserve 5" mobilised to fire at #Calshot Beach. Fire extinguished with buckets, NapSacks & drag forks.
Please be considerate when enjoying Calshot & keep the naked flames away. It's a beautiful part of the Waterside and enjoyed best whilst NOT on fire π₯π«
After two days of fire calls, our appliance 58P7 needs more tlc at workshops.
While away, we host "Reserve 5" to fill P7's boots & provide fire reponse to the Waterside.
For the spotters amongst us, Reserve 5 was formerly stationed at @Fordingbridge47 before becoming a Reserve
