Featured Arkham Intel Exchange Bounty: Nomad Bridge Exploit
Today we’re highlighting a bounty looking for intelligence on any owner of the three wallet addresses most involved in the Nomad Bridge Exploit.
Let’s dive into this Intel Exchange Bounty.
Context
The Nomad Bridge was drained for $190M of liquidity in August 2022, making it the 5th largest exploit of that year.
An update was pushed in June 2022 that contained a critical vulnerability, allowing any account to repeatedly call the process() function in order to remove funds from the bridge’s liquidity pools.
When this was discovered, the Nomad Bridge was copycat attacked by dozens of accounts, as well as generalized frontrunner MEV Bots - resulting in a hack that commentators branded “Decentralized Crowd-looting”.
The three accounts that removed the most value from the Nomad Bridge’s Contracts are:
0x56D8B635A7C88Fd1104D23d632AF40c1C3Aac4e3 ($47M)
0xBF293D5138a2a1BA407B43672643434C43827179 ($40M)
0xB5C55f76f90Cc528B2609109Ca14d8d84593590E ($8M)
