There is this wonderful thing with crafts and time that allows a mixing of different skills to create new items.
The stencil-dyed #washi papers of the Asai family are one of them. The stencil-dye industry of Kyoto, in time, slide from fabrics to washi.

@Etsy Hi, a US customer hasn't her package delivered after 2 attempts, I don't know why. She urged me to replace the items but it's not my fault, and she does not give any explanation on a pb with the address or her not being here to get the parcel. What should I do ? Thank you.

保存会楮畑にて🙂
春の芽吹きにむけて、保存会の皆さんで畑周りの溝堀作業をしました🙂これから株から新芽がでてくる季節です。成長が楽しみです☺️

作業後、山の蕗の薹スポット紹介してもらいいっぱい蕗の薹ゲットしました☺️

C'est la saison de récolte de la mauve visqueuse "tororo aoi" dont on extrait des racines un mucillage qui sert à la fabrication du #PapierJaponais. Ici, l'artisan Taniguchi de washi Inshû (Tottori) cultive et récolte son propre tororo aoi.

数日前、工場���の畑で育てた
トロロアオイ収穫🤗。
家の畑で育てるのは4年ぶり。
トロロアオイ栽培携わって4年目。
一年目、ひげ根しか育たなかったのに今年は主根が大きく育った！
今年、自分で育ていくつか課題点が
あったので、来年に繋げたい🙂
