"Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims, and to all the Jewish community in our country.
"This terrorist outrage is an attack on all of us. And we should stand in solidarity with our Jewish friends, and make it clear that violence is unacceptable." @edwardjdavey
Today is #InternationalWomensDay2025, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, & political achievements of women, & to reflect on how much further we still need to go
Our ongoing commitment to gender equality continues and is a key part of what makes us Lib Dems
Wishing a happy new year to Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese communities in the UK, and to everyone who is celebrating the Lunar New Year.
May it be a time of joy and celebration for you and your family.
Hugely disappointing decision as Haringey Labour breaks manifesto commitment and halves the number of Green Flag parks in the borough

Haringey Lib Dems condemn in the strongest terms the racist violence and intimidation we have seen over the past week. Haringey is a welcoming, diverse and inclusive borough and there is no place or tolerance for racism here.

@LibDems are the only major party calling for electoral reform.
Politics has been broken by the current government and trust lost. We can reform the way we run the country to make if fairer.

Haringey was the first council to join the campaign to make care experience a protected characteristic thanks to a motion from Lib Dem Cllr Tammy Palmer @gingernutfox
Fantastic that this has made it into the national Lib Dem manifesto: hopefully other parties will now follow.
๐ BREAKING: The @LibDems have officially added Care Experience as a Protected Characteristic into their manifesto!
This means recognising the unique challenges faced by those for whom the state had legal responsibility as children. ๐
A huge thank you to @EdwardJDavey for his support and understanding. When me and @ccwild79 met with Ed, he shared his personal experiences of losing his parents and being a carer for his son. It was heartbreaking. He acknowledged the difference having family support can make, a luxury many care-experienced individuals donโt have.
We are proud to see the Lib Dems leading the way, and we urge all political parties to follow suit. Let's also celebrate the 92 councils that have already passed motions to Treat Care Experience as if it were a protected characteristic until it becomes legislation.
Together, we can make a real difference! ๐๐ #CareExperience #LibDems #Manifesto2024 #StandUpForCare
The @NewJournal has covered my bike theft.
Having your bike stolen is very frustrating at the moment as it feels like there's nothing that can be done.
A return to community policing would be a real help to stopping crimes like these.
The country deserved better than that.
At least people got to hear one major policy today -a groundbreaking Liberal Democrat plan to offer free personal care for all and finally reform social care.
That is what the public deserves - a real Fair Deal.

The Conservatives have given up on London. They won't win tomorrow.
But tomorrow will be our opportunity to send a clear message that we want to fix the Met.

Analysis shows Haringey is the 308th best performing council in England - out of 318.
These abysmal statistics speak for themselves: after over 50 years of being run by Labour, Haringey is one of the very worst performing councils in the country.

There is no good reason for Labour to reject the EUs offer to restore freedom of movement for young people!
If Labour won't stand up for internationalism & young people the Lib Dems will. ๐ถ๏ธ๐ช๐บ
Vote @Londonlibdems and @robblackie on May 2nd.
