Accor’s CEO said on Thursday that the group scrapped plans to open two hotels on a Greek island because of water shortages and the risks from fire hazards.

“In Mykonos, we decided not to open two hotels, which were meant to be built,” he said.

We arrange a 3-hotel stay for a journo. You know how complicated it is to co-ordinate dates between 3 different hotels.

Journo asks to change dates, we amend them.

Journo’s flights get cancelled, no show — doesn’t even bother to send us an email!
