Joey Harkins claimed 🥈 in the Men's Weight Throw at 𝗠𝗩𝗖 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸 & 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀!

His throw of 19.95 meters ranks third in the Drake men's indoor track & field record book.

-Gal Arad broke an Israel national record in the indoor 200 meter dash (21.23 seconds).

-Adam Fogg shattered an indoor school record in the 3000 meters (7:51.01).

Adam Kessler becomes the first Drake thrower in program history to qualify for the Olympic Trials! He gets to wear the Bulldog uniform one more time as he competes with the best in the country. The shot put prelims are at 12pm PST (2pm CST for our folks back home).

Adam Kessler hits 18.34m/60’ 2” for 17th place at NCAAs. From battling an old hip injury all season, spraining his ankle, and tweaking his groin, Adam fought through it all and had the best season of his career with new lifetime bests and his first appearance at NCAAs.

🚨🚨Ticket punched to Nationals! 🚨🚨 Adam Kessler came through big time with 19.53m/64’ 1” on his LAST THROW to move from 13th to 6th and secure his spot at NCAAs! This is the first Drake thrower to advance to nationals since 2013, and the first shot putter since 1992.

For the first time since 2013, Drake will have throwers representing the Bulldogs at NCAA West Prelims at Texas A&M. GS Adam Kessler is coming in ranked 8th in the West in shot put at 19.91m/65’ 4”, and SR Joey Harkins comes in ranked 46th in hammer at 61.21m/200’ 10”.
