โ ๐๐๐ have to ๐ณ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ for whatโs ๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ every single day, ๐ป๐๐ ๐ ๐พ๐๐๐๐๐๐ฟ ๐๐๐๐ or not. โ
Luke watches him get ready to leave, shaking his head with an amused smile.
โ Yeah, yeah. Your Cokeโs safe. Go handle your business, Spider-Man. โ
He raises his bottle slightly.
Peter smiled after Luke patted his shoulder and then glanced back at him, giving his friend a smile.
โWeโre friends, Luke. Iโll always be looking out for you.โ
He then heard sirens before picking up his bottle and carefully placed it in the fridge.
โSounds like thatโs my (+)
Luke lets out a quiet chuckle, shaking his head as he finishes another sip.
โ Criminals hanging off buildings? Long as you clean up the webs afterward, weโre good. โ
He gives Peter a firm pat on the shoulder.
โ Alright, kid. Harlemโs yours for the night. โ
โIโll leave it as it is to you, Luke. Well, if you donโt mind the criminals being webbed onto buildings.โ
Peter gave a nod in return before taking a sip from his drink as well and looked at Luke.
โEverythingโs gonna be okay, Luke. Iโve got this.โ
โ But you call me if things get too heavy. Bulletproof or not, Iโm still only a phone call away. โ
A slight grin.
โ And Parker? Try to leave Harlem the way you found it. โ
Luke studies him for a second before taking another sip of his Coke, finally giving in with a small nod.
โ Alright, alright. You got it. Just for tonight. โ
He points the bottle toward Peter.
Peter wouldโve cracked his bottle open before taking a sip and responded to Lukeโs comment.
โI know, but like you said earlier. Youโve been putting a lot on yourself, and I really wanna do this for you.โ
He then gave him a smile.
โNot my first rodeo. You know?โ
Luke takes the Coke, giving Peter an appreciative nod before cracking it open.
โ Appreciate it, kid. Really. But Harlemโs a lot to put on somebody elseโs shoulders. โ
โWe both did.โ
He smiled as Peter had a glass bottle of Coke before handing one over to Luke.
โThough it wouldnโt be a bad idea to take a break. If you want, Iโll look after the neighborhood for you.โ
