History: On July 6th 1967, the northern and southWest provinces of Nigeria came together and attacked Igbos because they declared independence from Nigeria 🇳🇬!

This unprovoked aggression resulted to displacement of 6 million Igbos & death of about 3 million Igbos majorly children due to deliberate blockade by Yakubu Gowon to starve Igbos to death!

It’s worth noting that it was also a yoruba man Benjamin adekunle who slaughtered over 1,000 unarmed men in Asaba Massacre!

Today we celebrate our gallant soldiers who stood and protected the igbo land against the blood sucking fulanis and deceptive yorubas, WE WILL NEVER FORGET!

We have just concluded the midnight candlelight vigil in honour of Biafra’s heroes and heroines. Today, the 30th, IPOB worldwide will officially remember Biafra’s heroes and heroines with our usual rituals.

As long as we live, we shall never forget Biafra’s fallen heroes. We have immortalised them in our hearts, and we shall pass their legacy on to our children and our children’s children to remember every year. This memory shall linger until the end of time.
